Visa Application Process
Step 1: Determine the Appropriate Visa Type
Choose the visa that best matches the purpose of your visit:
Schengen Tourist Visa – for tourism, visiting family or friends, etc.
Business Visa – for attending meetings, conferences, or other business-related activities.
Step 2: Understand the Required Documents
Familiarize yourself with the documents typically required for your visa type. Our team will guide you through the necessary documents upon consultation.
Step 3: Schedule an Appointment
Book an appointment with the designated Visa Application Center or embassy/consulate.
Step 4: Complete the Application & Gather Documents
Fill out the visa application form accurately. Based on your travel purpose, we will assist you in organizing and preparing the necessary supporting documents to ensure your application is complete.
Step 5: Attend Your Appointment
Arrive on time at the Visa Application Center or embassy/consulate. Submit your application and biometric data (fingerprints and photograph), and pay the applicable visa fee.
Step 6: Track Your Application
Monitor the status of your application online using the tracking system. You’ll need your application reference number and date of birth.
Step 7: Receive Your Passport
Once processing is complete, collect your passport in person or opt for courier delivery (if available). If your visa is approved, verify that all details on the visa sticker are correct.
Step 8: Prepare for Travel
When traveling to Germany, carry all necessary documents with you. Border officers may request proof of accommodation, a return ticket, and evidence of sufficient financial means.

Original Passport valid for at least three months beyond the intended departure date from the Schengen States. Must contain at least two sequent empty pages.

Two recent biometric passport sized photographs, 3.5 x 4.5 cm

Personal bank statements of at least the last 3 months before application, personal property, assets etc.
During the whole processing time the passport has to remain with the German Consulate. Passports can only be withdrawn if a written request by the applicant himself is presented to the Consulate. Consequently, the application will be cancelled / withdrawn and the passport returned via VFS Global within 2 working days.
No, an interview is not mandatory. Most applications are processed based on submitted documents. However, in some cases, the embassy may request an interview if they need additional information or clarification.
You must provide fingerprints and a digital photo if you haven’t given biometrics for a Schengen visa in the last 59 months.

An international medical insurance covering the entire stay with a minimum of 30.000 € coverage and repatriation. Medical insurances of credit cards are not accepted.

Minor travelling with one parent/legal guardian/travelling alone: Passport, ID, Birth certificate, original authorization signed by parents/legal guardian. Copy of passports of parents/legal guardians.
Children under 12 years old are exempt from fingerprinting but still need a digital photo. Children aged 12 and above must provide full biometrics.
