Canada Visa Application Process

Step 1: Prepare the Application Forms 

There are mainly three forms to prepare the Visiting Visa Application -  Visiting Visa Application Form, Family Information Form and Schedule 1 Form to fill the travel history details.

Step 2: Prepare the Documentation and Supporting Letters

Compile the required documents and prepare the Supporting Letters based on the available documents.

Step 3: Application Submission through GCKey Portal

Create an application profile in the GCKey Portal using the client's email ID to submit the application. All the documents should upload through this profile and pay the Application Fee & Biometrics Fee. Applications can submit after making the payment.

Step 4: Book the appointment for Biometrics 

The Biometrics Collection Letter will be received within 24-48 hours and once received, we can book the appointment for the Biometrics in the nearest Visa Application Centre (VAC).

Step 5: Biometrics Submission 

Visit the Visa Application Centre on the day of the appointment and you have to submit the Finger Prints. Make sure to keep your hands without henna. 

Step 6: Canada Visa Approval

The Final Decision of the application will be received in the email used to create the application profile. Once you receive the approval letter, you have to book an appointment at the nearest Visa Application Centre (VAC) to submit the passport.

Step 7: Passport Submission

Once the verification of the passport is done, the embassy will send the stamped passport back. If you opt for a courier service, then it will be delivered to the address you provided.

  • Bank statement 6 months updated with bank stampings

  • White background photograph (passport size is fine)

  • Trade license copy (if you are self-employed)

  • If working as an employee, share NOC (with leave days mentioned and also please mention a travel date after 1 month) / SALARY CERTIFICATE.

  • Passport stamped pages. (if any, share it as scanned pdf)

  • Marriage certificate, Birth certificate for kids, if applicable 

  • Passport - Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your intended stay in Canada

  • Resident ID - Emirates ID. Your resident ID is valid for at least 3 months beyond your travel date.

Supporting Documents

  • Ownership Certificate of Assets or Properties (legal translation in English)

  • Recent 6 months Salary Slips

  •  Rental Agreements (Legal translation in English)

  •  Evidence of Family Members in the country of residence.

  •  Driving Licenses & Utility bills if any

  •  Credit card statements, bank liabilities, etc.

  • The frame size must be at least 35 mm x 45 mm (1 3/8″ x 1 3/4″)

  • The photographs must show the full front view of the head, with the face in the middle of the photograph, and include the top of the shoulders

  • The size of the head, from chin to crown, must be between 31 mm (1 1/4″) and 36 mm (1 7/16″)
