Visa Application Process

Step 1: Determine the Appropriate Visa Type

Choose the visa that best matches the purpose of your visit:

Schengen Tourist Visa – for tourism, visiting family or friends, etc.

Business Visa – for attending meetings, conferences, or other business-related activities.


Step 2: Understand the Required Documents

Familiarize yourself with the documents typically required for your visa type. Our team will guide you through the necessary documents upon consultation.



Step 3: Schedule an Appointment

Book an appointment with the designated Visa Application Center or embassy/consulate.


Step 4: Complete the Application & Gather Documents

Fill out the visa application form accurately. Based on your travel purpose, we will assist you in organizing and preparing the necessary supporting documents to ensure your application is complete.


Step 5: Attend Your Appointment

Arrive on time at the Visa Application Center or embassy/consulate. Submit your application and biometric data (fingerprints and photograph), and pay the applicable visa fee.


Step 6: Track Your Application

Monitor the status of your application online using the tracking system. You’ll need your application reference number and date of birth.


Step 7: Receive Your Passport

Once processing is complete, collect your passport in person or opt for courier delivery (if available). If your visa is approved, verify that all details on the visa sticker are correct.


Step 8: Prepare for Travel

When traveling to Spain, carry all necessary documents with you. Border officers may request proof of accommodation, a return ticket, and evidence of sufficient financial means.

Two recent (not older than six months) high definition passport-size photo in colour with white background and face of the applicant must cover at least 80% of the frame.

Passport expiry date should be more than 3 months from the return date of travel.

The passport must have at least two blank pages. It does not matter if the pages are not consecutive.

Original up-to-date bank account statement for the last 6 months. (Internet generated statements must be stamped by the issuing bank).

NOC letter from the employer/local sponsor stating qualification and start date of employment in Kuwait, purpose of travel, status of employment and monthly salary. Assurance that the applicant will be still working for the company after the holiday (travel date). 

Pensioners: Pension Certificate

Students: proof of enrolment in school/university for the period after the trip.

If the Embassy of Spain in Kuwait is unable to return the application to you because they would like to request additional documents, schedule you for a personal interview or require additional time to correspond with the Home Office, it will be updated through an email individually addressed to the applicant.

You can retrieve your passport at the Embassy at any time. You must come in person with your ID and sign on the application form. Your passport will be returned within 24 hours. Later on you can submit a new application. You will have to pay the visa fee again and bring all the documents.
